Attorney Kelly Lombardo is a lifelong resident of Monroe County, having been born and raised in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Attorney Lombardo received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Chemistry and a minor in Criminal Justice from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While attending law school, Attorney Lombardo received recognition for her legal writing and her pro bono work with the Harrisburg Civil Law Clinic.

Attorney Lombardo was admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Bar on October 30, 2009. In January of 2010, she began a two-year judicial clerkship with the Honorable Jennifer Harlacher Sibum of the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Attorney Lombardo then joined the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office in late December of 2011 as a full time Assistant District Attorney under the direction of District Attorney E. David Christine, Jr. In September of 2014, Attorney Lombardo joined Attorney Cerato’s practice as a part-time associate attorney, assisting clients with estate planning and administration, while maintaining a part-time position with the District Attorney’s Office. She became a full-time associate of Attorney Cerato in 2015.

Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and the United States Middle District Court, Attorney Lombardo is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the Monroe County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Monroe County Elder Justice Task Force. Attorney Lombardo serves as solicitor for the Monroe County Area Agency on Aging.

January 1, 2024, Attorney Lombardo was elected to the Executive Board of the Monroe County Bar Association. Attorney Lombardo acts as Treasurer of the Monroe Animal League, a 501(c)(3) organization providing spay/neuter vouchers to promote a reduction in feral cat colonies and needs based assistance to pet owners. She resides in Stroudsburg with her husband and two children.
